“JLo’s Homecoming: The Bronx Premiere of Her Film in a Stunning Royal Blue Outfit”

She accessorized with jewelry inspired by the Empire State and embraced her roots as Jenny from the Block. Jennifer Lopez recently made a visit back to her hometown in the Bronx for the debut of her latest musical film, entitled “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story.” J.Lo made a grand entrance at the AMC Bay Plaza in New York City wearing a stunning royal blue outfit that paid tribute to her New York roots.

The striking outfit, inspired by the Donna Karan Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 1996 collection, featured a low-cut sleeveless jumpsuit that Lopez wore under a spacious matching coat that she casually draped off her shoulders. She complemented her midnight blue ensemble with accents of black, such as her pointed-toe heels and leather gloves, as well as a leather baseball cap for a touch of casual flair that was still stylish and approved by New Yorkers.

In the midst of it all, the “Marry Me” actress paid homage to her home state by donning jewelry from Marli, featuring a round pendant necklace, two collar necklaces, and matching earrings. These exquisite pieces were part of the brand’s “Empire Collection,” inspired by the architectural and visual elements of the Empire State.

“This Is Me…Now: A Love Story” is a romantic comedy musical that follows Lopez’s romantic journey from her early relationships to her current marriage with Ben Affleck. The film, which blends different genres, can now be streamed on Amazon Prime and is connected to Lopez’s latest studio album, “This Is Me…Now,” a follow-up to her 2002 album, “This Is Me…Then.” Leading up to the release of both projects, Lopez has been showcasing glamorous outfits, including wearing three eye-catching looks in less than a day on Thursday.
